| Controversies | Rumour about her wedding with actor Vishal Krishna Reddy: A rumour about the wedding of Lakshmi Menon and actor Vishal Krishna Reddy surfaced on the internet in August 2023. It was said that they married each other secretly. In a reply to this, Vishal posted a tweet on his Twitter handle denying all the rumours and said, Usually I don’t respond to any fake news or rumors about me coz I feel it’s useless. But now since the rumour about my marriage with Laksmi Menon is doing the rounds, I point blankly deny this and it’s absolutely not true and baseless. The complainant said that after he and his friends left the Velocity pub on 24 August, Lakshmi's group allegedly followed their car, blocked it near Ernakulam North Bridge, dragged him out, forced him into another vehicle, and beat him up.
